I think that GDC version is just very old and it's D1. I'm not sure if
recent GDC releases work on SPARC though.

This is fixed in newer GDC versions, but this should not cause real
problems anyway, it's just a warning.

Looks like there's no writeln function in D1?

There shouldn't even be a a.out file if that writeln error happened
before?
TLDR: You probably want a recent D2 compiler but I don't think any of
the D2 compilers actually supports SPARC right now.
