I'm pretty sure all the source code is in UTF-8. I used kate as my editor  
and it always defaults to UTF-8. Besides shouldn't the compiler complain  
if the source code has illegal characters? I talked about this problem in  
the IRC channel and a user was able to reproduce the problem. Weren't you  
able to reproduce it?
