Commas are even more noise than than quotes. erlang:

[{app, "app1"}, {user, "user1"}, {score, 123456}, {date, 5000000}, {misc, "foo"}]

But if you just drop commas:

[{app "app1"} {user "user1"} {score 123456} {date 5000000} {misc "foo"}]
