For Fedora Rawhide the path to the DejaVu typeface is 
/usr/share/fonts/dejavu/ with there being a multitude of TTF font 
files in that directory.

Ubuntu being a Debian system, the Debian files are in 
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/dejavu
