I talked about it w/ Stefan, and asked him to volunteer for an
implementation, that's why we have this thread ;).
In any case I'm convinced that the simple-first strategy has a much
higher chance to be implemented this year, whereas the bug report [¹]
for slow CTFE is already 5 years old.
