           Summary: char[] ~= wchar results in invalid UTF-8
           Product: D
           Version: 1.004
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: DMD
        AssignedTo: bugzilla at digitalmars.com
        ReportedBy: oskar.linde at gmail.com

I'm not sure this classifies as a bug, but the behavior is somewhat surprising
and, I'm sure, never intended.

char[] str = "test".dup;
str ~= 'é';

Results in str containing an illegal UTF-8 encoded string.
