Thanks, that worked. However, the help page was not clear in indicating that
only a post and not a thread was valid. I only posted this bug because I
followed the instructions on the help page and it still failed. I must have
copied the link to the thread at the top of the page rather than the initial
post of the thread. Then I wasn't astute enough to notice that a valid link
could only have "post". The thread link didn't seem any longer or more
complicated, so I couldn't tell that it was invalid.

There are plenty of links one might naively copy that have thread instead of
post, based on the existing instructions. My suggestion: Emphasize in the help
message that it must be a *post* and not a thread. Suggested sentence: "Note
that a valid link must be to an individual post, not to a thread." Or whatever
you think would make it clearer. (I won't reopen this as documentation
enhancement, assuming the change is trivial, but I would like it made clearer.)
