You can get started with your printer setup easily by visiting 123.hp.com/setup
for Mac. Here are the pointers for setting up the printer for Mac.
The HP printer software and driver can be updated on the Mac with the aid of
the Apple Software Update.
Switch the printer and check if it’s connected to your device. 
Click the System Preferences in the Apple Menu.
Next, tap Printers & Scanners. 
If you don’t see the printer listed, click Add Printer or Scanner and tap on
your printer’s name.
Next, click on the Print Using menu and choose the name of your printer.
Tap on Add. 
Now close the System Preferences.
Try to print.
