IUP (http://www.tecgraf.puc-rio.br/iup/) uses the native GUI API, 
exposes a portable pure C API and runs through htod as is. I haven't 
built anything from it because it has a pile of string constants that 
htod won't convert (Walter, that was a feature request) so an automatic 
D port is not yet possible.
