use a tango or phobos

If you want fairly stable development, 2.0 is probably a bad choice for now.
Tango does not support it yet for this reason.

You should be able to create a smaller footprint program with Tango due to
higher modularity. We would like to hear about obvious problems to that
effect.

To me, Tango would be the obvious choice always, but then I'm not yet in
need of any of the 2.0 features. Also, I'm somewhat biased :)
