64-bit on D - Possible?

While you are there please answer this if anyone knows 

I have a 64 bit , Dual Core , single channel machine running Linux.

Now I'm unsure as to exactly what that means by way of is it running dmd in 32 bit mode ? 
or 64 . Whichever, it is running dmd 1.024 satisfactorily  now .
