I mean, even if your processor is 64-bit, and you have a 32-bit OS 
installed, it'll work, since the 64-bit processor will just be running in 
32-bit mode.  But if you have a 64-bit OS, well, you can try.  I've never 
even *touched* 64-bit Linux so my utility comes to an end here.
