I agree there are some problems. But not putting this warning in 
the default language means such problems will not be faced at the 
language level itself too. So maybe no good solutions will be 
found to those problems. So maybe it needs to be an integrated & 
well designed feature of D.

The enhancement request is for a warning :-)
