Hehe, true.  It has some benefits, but for the most part, it just makes it 
easier to lose all settings for all programs at once.  My registry was 
corrupted once during a crash.  It was terrible.  Half the programs I had 
just had to be reinstalled; the rest lost all their settings and/or thought 
they were unregistered.  And all my Windows settings too.  Woo.
