Derek,
There's no restriction on using unicode as a file or directory name. The
trademark usage applies to using the name <unicode> for products that get
wide exposure such as in a software product name, or in a book name. A
file or directory name within your project is certainly not as relevant.

Opt Subject: Use of "unicode" in a file name

Under what circumstances may I use the character string "unicode" in the
name of a file or directory? For example, am I allowed to create a file
called "unicode.h" or a folder called "c:\projects\unicode\" ?

My reading of your trademark usage seems to imply that the (tm) symbol
must also be used in such a file name and that is highly impractical.
