It would probably help if you guys could post every once in a while on 
the main newsgroups here just to let everyone know you're still there. 
Seems that has been happening a bit more recently, so that's good to see.

Well I'm pretty sure for those sorts of issues, contributions from 
people who need the features are the way to go.  Walter's a compiler 
writer, not an I18N guru.  I think the situation in D dealing with local 
codepages is pretty bad right now.  And it's definitely not just the 
Asian language folks who are complaining about it.
