I was interested in his project back when he was active in the D community, but I
haven't heard from Mike in a while. I think he lost interest in D (link 1 below).
I don't know if you were aware, but Mike set up a dsource project for DFC called
L8night (link 2). (I think that's where the latest source is.) You might be able
to get his attention by sending him a "private message" through the dsource forum
(link 3).
By the way, I doubt that DFC compiles with anything in the DMD 1.x series so that
would be a first step that you might want to do before converting it to DMD 2.x.
Also, DFC required the Core32 project (link 4) (which I made a half-hearted effort
to maintain for a while), but it'd probably make more sense to change it to depend
on the newer WindowsAPI project (link 5).
