Strictly speaking its configurable on linux too. Just use a case insensitive file system like NTFS. In the linux case its also bonkers.
In case it wasn't obvious I think the point was that distinguishing
module names using case alone is a bad idea. Especially, if you want to be portable. Either qualify the names or put them in a different sub-directory / namespace.
