Isn't "transitive" the wrong word?

Thanks for the reference.  I'm looking forward to reading the paper.  As 
I said, I found the "transitive" term intuitive.  Maybe this satisfies 
Janice?

I'm sure many things have been repeated in the const discussions :) 
Sometimes it takes a few times to get through.
