Comparing Speed C++ & D

I got this from my Google Alerts, and figured that there was something 
more this person was missing when he ran his tests. In the past in this 
news group I've seen issues with mixing compilers and other things. Since 
I'm not really familiar with this area I thought other people might be 
able to suggest possible reasons.
