I have used it for a completely foreign code to make it browsable. It 
performs well, but I still think it is not something that needs to be 
added to a compiler. Ddoc does the job just fine.

Depends hugely what you were instructed it to do. Regularly, the 
browsable code that dogygen does with minimum configuration is very good 
for getting used to a foreign code.
