What you use D for?

I currently have one project (a job) that is done in VB6 and I'm trying to 
talk the guy into letting me redo it in D.

I have another project (different job) that the bosses want to do in D but 
would need to see a better tool set: IDE+Debugger+etc.

I'd pay something ($30, maybe a bit more) for such a product. I suspect my 
bosses would be willing to pay a bit more than that.
