containers/collections for phobos

After much discussions in this group and a lot of reflection, I believe 
I know exactly what there is to be done. It's now a matter of finding 
time to sit down and write the code. Most definitely there will be 
details that I hadn't thought of that will jitter the design quite a 
bit, but I don't expect anything dramatic.
