Can't hurt.  Part of what holds D back is that its community is so diffuse, since
it doesn't have a real niche yet that concentrates a lot of users.  These forums
are about the only place other than random coffee shops in Seattle where you hear
much about D on the technical side.  Hopefully a D.marketplace newsgroup would do
the same thing on the $$ side.
