That import statement DOES interest me. I only have my goof-off time to 
research long-term things though. To me, it looks akin to getting an 
interface pointer (I only know C++, keep in mind) from a DLL. If so (which 
it probably isn't), I associate that with high-level packaging/deployment of 
production libraries, and separate from low-level library development.
