Google's Go

Recently I've seen this, is it possible to write an equally short & safe & easy program in D2 (using the concurrency features being developed)?

(In computer language history it's happened often that a worse language (let's say Go) becomes more widespread than a "better" one (let's say D2), so there's no guarantee that D2 will beat Go even if D2 is "better". But being about as good or better is not bad anyway :-) ).
