I don't recall the keyboard support in Windows 3.1 -- the first version
of Windows I had used -- but from Windows 95 onward, the basic system
and then situation have been the same: better than anything else I've
tried.

You mentioned Web browsers. I can drive Firefox very well with just the
keyboard. Sometimes pointing with the mouse is more convenient, but it's
never made necessary by the browser.
