Grrr....  (minor rant in next paragraph.)

Why is it that programmers can even think that a wiki is a suitable
place to put code and patches?  Surely the only sane place for code is
in a version control repository?

So let us assume that a Bazaar branch, Mercurial repository or Git
repository gets created to hold this stuff, allowing for an Emacs 23
branch, where is the right place to host it, Launchpad, BitBucket,
GitHub?
