Gnome-Shell, a prototype Desktop Environment for Gnome3, is written in Javascript
(and C for Clutter bindings); uses CSS for theming. Having seen some recent demos
and screenshots of what people can do with it, the end result is quite
magnificent. At least, in my humble opinion. =)
