I agree that's a bit controversial, but a known C lint finds that problem, and every strategy is good against bugs :-)

You are right, we have to create a contest site like this for IODCC (International Obfuscated D Code Contest):
http://www.ioccc.org/
This contest has also caused the creation of that fine piece of software that is the TCC (Tiny C compiler).

It's related in a sense, it shows an example of a dangling else bug done by the language too :-)
