Should we assume in the first instance that we should only attempt to accommodate those DBs that are free or have some free version that may be limited in some way - e.g. the developer version of MS SQL Server. Presumably when D reaches the point of being all-conquering, then Oracle, IBM and so on will chip in. Steve
