It sure would be nice. With D, you should not have to mess around 
with a pointer like this.

Anyway, thanks for your efforts, we at least have a "hack" 
solution to try out.

BTW, there should be bug report or something about fixing the 
incomplete "outer" feature. Anyone looked yet?
