Seeking research papers on D

Similarly, I was looking for research papers discussing 
applications on D or comparing D's use for scientific 
applications with other languages.

I searched: 
http://scholar.google.com/scholar?q=%22d+%22+programming+language&btnG=&hl=en&as_sdt=1%2C16, 
and also with dlang (which it changes to slang!), but could not 
find anything.

I would be grateful for your help.
