Did I mention that Orvid planned on doing that for his
replacement GC?
It looks like there are now a lot of proof of concept GC
modifications by several people. I think that's ok for the
benefit of exploring possibly incompatible changes and
trade-offs. A too early joint effort could mean that some
ideas cannot be explored to their full extent with the typical
myths about how good or bad some idea would have turned out.
