dll-linux page not in the menu on dlang.org?

Why do we need a high-level wrapper? Whats wrong with doing a library on 
a level similar to phobos? Afaik we don't have any other page describing 
how to compile a library into a .so on linux or how to link against the 
shared version of phobos.
