This is possible:

{
     ... // retrieve first, middle and last from data storage
     return (first, middle, last); // tuple literal
}

...

"You can also deconstruct into existing variables with a 
deconstructing assignment:

(first, middle, last) = LookupName(id2); // deconstructing 
assignment"
