DVM: DMD 2.071.0 not found

It's working fine for me. Which version of DVM are you using?

It should by default fetch from http://downloads.dlang.org/releases/2.x/ 
and only fallback to http://ftp.digitalmars.com if it cannot be found in 
the first place.

The 0.4.4 release added support for downloading platform specific 
archives. I think 0.4.2 added support for fetching from downloads.dlang.org.
