I completely agree with this opinion

RAII is nowadays described as C++ nicest , more important and 
most powerful feature
D again, missed the opportunity on that one

Between Go, Rust, Ocaml, native C# and Scala ...
D needs a more serious and ambitious roadmap

The pragmatic approach, described in the main blog post, is not 
good enough, for a language that have a small community like D
