You can use d-apt <http://d-apt.sourceforge.net/>

Install TkD packages:

$ sudo apt-get install libtkd-dev libtkd-doc

Then compile and run the example included on "libtkd-doc" package:

$ dmd `pkg-config --cflags --libs tkd` -J/usr/share/libtkd-doc/example/media/ -run /usr/share/libtkd-doc/example/example.d
