Is this a typo:

%APPDATA%\dub\settings.json

Shouldn't it be:

%APPDATA%\roaming\dub\settings.json

or:

%APPDATA%\local\dub\settings.json

I've never seen any software create it's folder at the top level 
of %APPDATA%.
