+1 for Ubuntu.

I've used and enjoyed Mint but have run into issues after 
upgrades, where Ubuntu seems to "just work" no matter what, for 
me at least. For my day-to-day use I prefer something more 
lightweight, but for ease of use Ubuntu is hard to beat.
