Hi Gishan, sorry for not answering before!
Definitely, using DMD as the front end to get MLIR code makes the 
problem much easier to solve. About working together, I'm totally 
comfortable working together with someone, the problem is that I 
don't think we can do it during project development at SAoC, but 
when the event is over, I would appreciate any help to maintain 
and improve the code so that the community can use the best and 
most reliable MLIR translation.
