Nothing wrong with that, but people tend to take the risk of 
switching to a new language when it is needed to access a 
superior framework for they task. So, something like Mir, if 
developed further, has much more potential than something like 
vibe-d.

Having one hands-down-solid framework might matter more than 
mirroring other platforms.

Just saying.
