Dlang IDE: Emacs, VS Code, or something else?

All the editors, to the exception of Visual-D, that have an
advanced support for D use DCD [1] so the quality of the
auto-completion, doculmentation popup, etc. is equal. DCD in
itself is very stable since a year or so. Personally I'm on
v0.12.0-2-g339d38f (dcd-client --version) and it never crashes.
