Why do you continue to use D?

Luckily I can use D at work. There are a lot spots where D fits 
nicely due to its C interoperability and due to the fact it is a 
compiled language. The project I work for is actually a cloud / 
big data project. Yes there is always s.th. missing in D 
ecosystem but either I can just use a C library or in worst case 
I solve it by calling another executable which provides the 
missing features.
