I don't like that it's using the name "Godot" everywhere without
being affiliated with it at all, even if it states on the
homepage that it isn't affiliated if you read enough. Just
because Godot is an open source project without a trademark on it
doesn't really justify using it for anything like this imo. They
are also just hoping for the good will of people to use the name
fairly.

There is also already an existing official godot asset library
which promotes open source more too and has editor integration:
https://godotengine.org/asset-library/asset

The website is also completely broken without javascript, but at
least it doesn't serve required third party origin scripts. It's
also rehosting the Godot asset library, but doesn't allow
downloads until you create an account on the website which is
really dubious...

As for the assets: I generally have the opinion that selling
assets:
- for intended usage in games as-is without modification,
- for beginners not knowing anything,
- reselling open stuff with little modification, etc.
is really shitty for multiple reasons and should be banned from
existing. For example there are assets like the 3D extruded
FontAwesome icons which feel like a rip-off. I'm not really the
target audience for such a website and wouldn't usually recommend
purchasing assets like that from any sites but I would especially
not recommend this site.

When more people publish content on it it might become better but
for now it doesn't look so good. It mentions 10% of revenue goes
to Godot which is great, but I'm wondering how much more revenue
goes to the store company?
