Sorry to hear that.  I hope you're better now.

Yes - I had it, and it was fine initially and then it wasn't so 
easy.  I don't think it would have gone very well if I hadn't 
prepared for certain deficiencies in our national health service 
and been able to treat myself.  I did have long covid but I am 
mostly better now.  Long covid is much more of a risk than death 
for most younger people.

You know it was interesting reading about the US politicians 
receiving a special briefing and then selling all their stocks. I 
thought to myself, if they had only read Reddit and followed some 
insightful people on Twitter they would have been by far better 
informed even in January.

So if we were able to prepare reasonably well so far this year 
then I owe it to social media and open source.
