Does D have any political goals?

As I said before, the D forum should add a feature for 
locking/closing forum posts, this thread should have been locked 
for discussion very long ago once I found an answer to my 
question, this will help stop a lot of arguments/flamewars before 
they even happen. If anyone working on the forum might want to 
consider adding this it would be appreciated.
