Best Commercial Segue into D

Greetings and thanks for any thoughts.

I'm looking for suggestions on what would be a good path into 
commercial coding using D.  I've completed two D coding courses 
on educative.io and would someday like to be coding in D.  
Accepting the fact I'm unlikely to find an entry level coding job 
in D, what would be a good career path to put me in a position 
where I could apply for a D coding job?  C/C++, Java, Python, 
embedded programming?
