I’m not sure why this was posted as a reply to my message, but 
talking about “replacements”… Why focus so much on replacing 
things?

For me, D happens to be the tool of choice.
Not because I replaced something else with it, but rather because 
it’s the first option I reach to when writing new programs (where 
it makes sense).
